Montessori to Go
With Montessori to Go, educators and faculty work together to strengthen school communities. Through Montessori to Go, school communitites have the opportunity to:
• Deepen understanding of specific curriculum content
• Collaborate with each other, sharing individual strengths
• Practice and reflect on new techniques or strategies
Staff Development
Whether in a one-time visit or through a series, MINW can help teachers share responsibility for making real change to their practice, through facilitation of staff meetings, observation, reflection and collaboration.
Parent Education Programs
MINW will provide you with a parent night designed for your community. Montessori experts from outside of your school community lend more credibility to the program and boost parent participation.
Classroom Observation
A trainer will come to your school, observe in your classroom(s), and provide constructive feedback based on those observations. This is a great opportunity to address specific questions and individual needs.
Customized Programs
Perhaps you would like to have MINW provide a variety of programs over an extended period. Our Community Education Director will work with you to tailor a program that fits your school needs.
General Information:
Open Registration: January 2nd - July 30th for the upcoming academic year. Applications received after July 30th will be added to the wait list and considered when there is availability or a cancellation. Applications will be processed in the order received. Click here to download an application. Upon receiving your completed application, we will contact you regarding the speaker's availability and to further discuss your request.
Payment Policy: Once dates have been confirmed, an invoice will be sent for Montessori to Go services, including travel expenses. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice and prior to the event.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received at least one week before the start of the event. There is a $40 cancellation fee. If MINW is notified of the cancellation after flight arrangements have been made, the Montessori Institute Northwest will send a revised invoice that includes the airline cancellation or rescheduling fees.
Travel Expense Policy:
Driving distance/one day events: Schools within a 20 mile radius of MINW receive no charge. 20.1+ miles driving distance will be charged at $.80 per mile.
For schools outside the driving area: Airfare, lodging, meals, and local transportation will be paid for by the host school. Flights will be booked by the speaker and included in the invoice from MINW.
