FINANCIAL AID

MINW currently does not offer financial aid. However, qualifying students may obtain financial aid through the following sources:

MES 2000 Fund

The Margaret Elizabeth Stephenson Fund, Inc. (MES Fund, Inc.) is the first financial aid fund established exclusively to benefit AMI teacher trainees. With the establishment of this fund, AMI/USA hopes to ensure that qualified individuals seeking AMI training will not be excluded due to their financial circumstances.

The MES Fund is administered by AMI-USA. To apply for this financial aid candidates must first be accepted into an AMI Course. The AMI-USA office must receive applications by May 1st. Visit the AMI-USA website for more information.

Cooperative Degree Program Financial Aid

The Montessori Institute Northwest has cooperative programs with Marylhurst University of Portland, Oregon and Loyola University Maryland. Students who participate in one of these cooperative programs can apply directly to the cooperating institution for financial aid to cover the cost of the AMI course and the additional cost of the cooperative program.

To apply for financial aid, follow these steps:
