MINW’s plans to offer regular AMI Elementary teacher training are underway!  Our first academic-year course is scheduled to begin on August 27, 2012. 

The MINW staff and board are busy preparing the logistical aspects for the course here in Portland.  These include securing a beautiful environment for the training, materials, and approval from multiple agencies including AMI, the Oregon Department of Education, and cooperating universities. 

Sarah Werner Andrews and Ginni Sackett, our Primary trainers, have been working closely with our incoming Elementary staff to design a course schedule that is cohesive, efficient and covers the developmental continuum of children.
